Yes folks, after much research what I found was that it's just a process that seems to exist. However it exists next to the thousands, if not millions if other processes that exist in nature. Eg the process that leads to the creation of apples. The ones on trees.
So why the big fuss about believing that this process exists? Simple, it means that humans were not created by a Creator. Instead it was just a process that created us. So we no longer need to think of our Creator. We can officially be free of it. Freedom from the Creator !. Aalaluya ! Mission accomplished. Science done it again !
But hold on a second, assuming that this process led to the creation of us humans, why could not the process have itself been created by the Creator? Then what? Are we still free from It? Not sure. So how would Adam and Eve fit in? Don't know. Where does all this get us? Perhaps we are half free.
So the result is that evolution helps us move towards getting our freedom from our Creator. But only half way. So what do we want to do now? Some options:
1- Go into denial and assume it will take us fully away from the Creator. Especially if we keep repeating the phrase 'Evolution Evolution !' It may help us. It may also be a good idea to start worshipping this process. Or maybe not.
2- Accept that perhaps we can never be fully free of the Creator and try to deal with this scenario. How?, is a good question. Maybe it's possible to come up with a solution. Some kind of comprise.
